Desert Grown Farms produces its Banana Cookies by crossing Banana OG with Cookies and Cream. The producer claims that the strain is popular because of its banana cream pie flavor. Although other manufacturers may use Sour Diesel and Platinum OG to create an indica-dominant Banana OG. DGF’s Banana Cookies' high kicks in right away with laughter and fuzzy feelings.

Appearance 3.5/5
I can see the Eight dense miniature nuggets of Banana Cookie Hybrid flower slide around through Desert Grown Farms plastic container. There is a light coating of white-gold trichomes on each of the praying mantis-green baby nugs. The clover-shaped sugar leaves are tiny and crinkled around the thick calyx. The pistols are not prominent but every now and then I notice a gathering of hairs that share the same color of ginger root.

Aroma 3.5/5
I am soothed by the warm and saccharine notes of Banana Cookies that meet my nose when I remove the lid of the Desert Grown Farms jar. That limonene is the most abundant terpene in this hybrid flower is evident not only because of the test results but also because of the powerful citrus tone of the smell. Likewise, I can detect the musk and tropical fruit notes commonly found in 𝛃-myrcene. It is not obvious but I can sniff the essence of a banana cream dessert in the aroma.

Taste 4/5
Smoking the grounded Banana Cookies grounded flower from a Raw come gives me a super smooth sensation on my taste buds. As the smoke billows into the chamber of my mouth, my tongue is fooled into believing I’m tasting a Banana Split Dippin’ Dots ice cream dessert. The vapor from the joint is saccharine and creamy so it’s an easy smoke. There is a spiciness from the 𝛃-caryophyllene but it’s not harsh like pepper. It is instead bittersweet like cinnamon.

Effect 4/5
Banana Cookies displays the duality of a hybrid strain because I feel relaxed but also aware. My focus is intensified during the smoke session. I feel like it’s a sativa-dominant hybrid as opposed to an indica. It’s a good strain for focusing and getting things done. As a result of Banana Cookies’ high, I feel motivated, uplifted, and energized! In the same way, Banana Cookies calms my aches and tensions. Excellent for playing video games or reading.

Product price: 1g for $13.00

I would recommend this strain to cannabis consumers that have a difficult time concentrating. Banana Cookies has an energizing effect that may combat lethargy. Because of the increase of energy that Banana Cookies provide, I believe it best to consume it during the day time. I don’t recommend this strain for beginners because the potent terpenes may cause anxiety.

I found it very interesting that Desert Grown Farm’s Banana Cookies Flower has a different lineage than most other producers. DGF crosses Banana OG and Cookies and Cream. On the other hand, some producers breed Sour Diesel and Platinum to create a strain of Banana Cookies. Although the scent was lacking tropical fruit flavor, the taste was definitely banana cream.

Curaleaf is a national cannabis marketplace brand with retail locations on both the East and West Coast of the United States. The company operates in fourteen different states including Nevada. The Las Vegas Curaleaf team also manages Acres Cannabis Marketplace, perhaps the most popular spot for locals. I enjoy doing business with Curaleaf Dispensary because of its variety of products, helpful staff, and frequent discounts. Unfortunately, it has been more than a month since I have visited the Curaleaf building on Las Vegas Boulevard because of the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully, the dispensary was not discouraged by the necessary quarantine and continues to innovate methods to connect with the Silver State community.

Technology has been a boon for us all during this time of isolation. For instance, the Curaleaf executive team broadcasted a special 4/20 thank you message using the #420thanks2you to all the employees and staff on the official Curaleaf website. Likewise, a partnership with Age of the Creatives produced a live show of the Creative Vibe Only Workshop. The special 4/20 live and interactive workshop featured cannabis as a wellness modality and tool for creatives. Even though I could find a plethora of entertainment and education on the Curaleaf website I was incapable of placing my cannabis orders directly on the website.

Hytiva.com is where the Curaleaf delivery services are now maintained. Once my account was verified, I added items to my shopping cart until I met the minimum subtotal of $75.00. The Desert Grown Farms Banana Cookies Flower 1 gram for $13.00 went into my order because of the fantastic terpene profile listed on Hytiva. The site also displayed pictures and lineage history for the majority of its product listings. I was grateful when I paid for my delivery in cash the next day.
