Breakfast sandwiches. You know 'em, you love'em, and you can get one just about anywhere nowadays. And while they maydiffer in slight respects, the core ingredients are often the same. In atypical, run-of-the-mill breakfast sandwich, you'll find some bacon, some eggs, some meat (ham or sausage), and of course, some cheese. All of those keyelements are then placed between two English muffin-like buns, thus creatingone of the most popular breakfast options available.

These sandwiches are one of my personalfavorites, and I rarely encounter one that I dislike. But, what if I were totell you that I knew how to make a killer breakfast sandwich that's fullyinfused with cannabis? Do I have your attention now?
While it may seem far-fetched, it's incrediblytrue. I've learned a recipe for a Marijuana Breakfast Sandwich, and I'm supereager to share it with you, my fellow cannabis enthusiasts.
But, like many of my other recipes, you'regoing to need some cannabis-infused butter.
Typically, you can find some at your localdispensary, but they can be a bit pricey, to be honest. That's why I alwaystend to make my own at home. And I'm more than happy to share that process withyou right now. Because, when you think about it, there's something supersatisfying about biting into something you completely made by yourself.

So, let's jump into it, shall we?
To make cannabis-infused butter, you'll wantto heat up a saucepan on 240° heat setting.
This will allow the decarboxylation process tooccur, without burning any of your cannabis. Speaking of, this is when you'llwant to toss in 1-2 cups of ground-up flower. Let that hang out in the saucepanfor nearly 30 minutes. This will allow the THC elements of the cannabis toactivate.
Then, toss in 1-2 cups of regular,non-medicated butter. Be mindful to stir in these contents as intricately asyou can. You'll want the THC to find its way into every nook and cranny of thisbutter. Then, find yourself a container for storage and some cheesecloth forstraining.
Through the cheesecloth and into thecontainer, pour out the contents of that saucepan. The cheesecloth shouldexpertly catch and stop all the chunky floral elements of the marijuana. Afterthat, transfer the container into the fridge. The cool temperature helps itthicken up to a nice buttery consistency.

Instructions

  • Once you’ve got all those ready and raring togo, you can start making yourself one of the best breakfast sandwiches of alltime.
  • Let’s kick things off by cooking the bacon, shall we?
  • In a large pan, use your cannabis-infusedbutter to grease the interior. You can use as little (or as much) as you’dlike. It all comes down to personal preference at this point. Just know that, throughout this recipe, the more you use, the stronger the effects will be. So,remember to take that into account as we proceed.
  • Once you’ve properly lubricated the pan, tossin those bacon strips, and let them sizzle to perfection on mid-to-high heat.Keep an eye on these bad boys, you don’t want them to burn. Nor do you want theTHC to render itself useless from too much heat exposure.
  • Then, when you feel like your bacon couldn’tbe any more perfect, throw them on a plate, and use a paper towel to dab the excessgrease away. But don’t dab too much, you don’t want to sop away the THC.
  • Now, without removing the bacon grease, tossanother pad (or two) of cannabis-infused butter into the pan. This sort of”re-greases” the interior a bit. This is when you’ll throw yoursausage patty on the pan. Let this patty soak up all the bacon grease andcannabis butter as it cooks.
  • The moment you feel your sausage is done, takeit out of the pan and place it on a nearby plate for the time being.
  • Make sure the pan is on high heat beforemoving forward. You'll want it to be good and hot before you crack that eggdirectly inside the pan. Salt and pepper the egg to taste, as it continues tocook.

Notes

When you feel like your fried egg is ready, use a spatula to expertly remove it from the pan, and place it gently on anearby plate.
At this point in the recipe, you’ll want tograb your English muffin and split it down the middle. These will be your buns.
On the bottom bun, you’ll want to apply aliberal amount of cannabis-infused butter. Atop that, place your sausage patty, then the cheddar cheese slice, then your bacon strips, and you’ll top it alloff with your fried egg. But, before you place the other bun on top, make sureto apply another healthy coating of cannabis-infused butter onto it. Then, take the entire sandwich and throw it inthe oven on broil.
Feel free to keep the oven door open to spy onthe sandwich. You don’t want anything to burn, so you’ll only need to keep itin there until the cheese starts to melt to your desired consistency. Then, when you’re happy with what you see, remove the sandwich and place it on aplate.
