Cinex 18.35% THC
The name Cinex is an interesting combination of the names of the parental strains, Cinderella 99 and Vortex, giving this strain a slight sativa dominance in its effects. Originally bred by CannaMan Farms in Washington State. With an average THC content in the lower 20s, this strain is known for mood elevation, body relaxation, and a citrus or earthy aroma.
Clover green buried in a wrapping of ginger red hairs, with just a dash of crystals. The buds I received were dense, but extremely crispy, with flakes falling off at the slightest touch. I simply had to squeeze the buds, and they crumbled completely. I received good-sized nugs, with the average size of each one being about the same as a bouncy ball from a quarter machine. I loved the red hairs; I think they made the buds very beautiful.
Opening the container, I got the slightest whiff of sweet honey and herbs. Putting my nose closer, the fragrance was a little stronger, with the herbal being slightly more potent. The combo of the light honey with the stronger herbal aroma made me think of sun tea made on the porch in summer, sweetened with honey. I would have preferred the aroma to be stronger. It was mild for a cannabis fragrance, still very pleasant.
The herbal aroma was very present in the flavor, yet not overpowering, with the honey hinted at only slightly in the first hit or two. Like the aroma promised, I tasted a lightly sweetened sun tea in my bowl. I found this strain to be smooth, with only the slightest tickle in my throat. I would have enjoyed the flavor more if it was stronger, with a little more of the honey flavor. Otherwise, it was delightful.
Within minutes of smoking a wake and bake bowl, I had some serious mood elevation. I became very euphoric and elated, with a creative spark that I will definitely be using this strain for again. After using this herb for my daytime smoke, I was delighted with the effects, and the duration, with it lasting for several hours. I didn’t really feel anything physically from the indica side of the strain, and I was a little disappointed, as I was hoping for the physical effects from the Indica as well.
This strain is hands down the best one I’ve ever found for straight mood elevation. I also found it to be great for a little creative spark, and to make mundane things like housework seem to fly by. I feel this would be an excellent strain for depression; it’s great for a wake and bake strain, active users, and helping with focus. It also gave me a bit more patience than I normally have. I feel both veteran users and newer users will enjoy this strain. The effects are not overwhelming, and the mood change is almost instantly apparent.
Gorgeous ginger-haired buds. Light aroma, but pleasant with a combination of honey and herbs. The herbal comes out better in the flavor, but the sweet honey fades a bit. The effects were nice, with a lengthy duration, but the indica side seemed lost in the batch I received as everything for me was pretty much mood elevation. If I was going for a straight sativa, this would be fine, but I was hoping for a hybrid so I could get some body effects.

Rise Dispensary is located off Pyramid Highway in Spanish Springs. Situated in a shopping center just inside Spanish Springs that also contains a grocery store, at least two fast-food restaurants, a sports bar, at least one pizza place, and at least two convenience stores. This seems like a great location to serve the Spanish Springs community and the guests that are traveling out to Pyramid Lake. Stop and grab all the supplies you need in one spot. Since they are in a larger shopping center, they have ample parking, as they share their lot with the other businesses around it.
Once inside, I was greeted by a nice person from behind a desk. She checked my ID, we chatted briefly, she gave me a card with a number on it, and then she buzzed me into the store area. In the store area, I saw people sitting waiting to be called in a line of bright orange chairs. I joined them, and I noticed a larger sitting area around the corner with more chairs and a few tables. In between the chairs and the budtender counter a display of the products available. The counter for the budtenders is quite large, and I counted almost a dozen terminals that could be utilized on their busiest days.
I arrived early in the daytime, with only a few people ahead of me, and I waited a minute or two before the number on my card was called. My budtender was friendly, and after discussing that I had never been there before, she went over their rewards program. They have a point system like most places in the Reno-Sparks area do. They also have daily deals, and I saw that they have a regular sale with the purchase of two prerolls, the customer can get a third for one dollar. I recommend looking at their website because they change their deals regularly.
