Instructions

  • Start things off by preheating your oven to 375°.
  • As that warms up, grab a 9” x 13” casserole dish, and proceed to lightly butter that up with some non-infused, regular, store-bought butter.
  • Next, you’ll want to grab a saucepan, and place it over “Medium” heat. In this saucepan, you will melt your 3 tablespoons of cannabis-infused butter.
  • Once that’s fully melted, toss in your onions, along with ½ teaspoon of salt, to saute. Keep these cooking amongst each other until the onion turns translucent and softens up. Which, in my experience, doesn’t take much longer than a few minutes.
  • When that happens, toss in your all-purpose flour, and stir (and cook) everything for another few minutes. And, to avoid any boiling, if you need to reduce the heat during this part of the recipe, you can feel free to do so.
  • Now, whisk in your cold milk, as you kick the heat up to a “Medium-to-High” setting. Don’t stop stirring here. Keep that going until everything comes to a simmer, and the sauce begins to thicken. At which point, you can remove everything from the heat, and whisk in your cheddar cheese. Once that’s incorporated with the mixture, place the sauce to the side for the time being.
  • Following that, you’ll need to grab a big pot. Fill that bad boy up with water, and toss in your remaining salt, as you bring everything to a boil. Then, once it hits that boiling point, throw in your egg noodles to cook for roughly 5 minutes.
  • When that cook period is done, drain everything, and add the egg noodles to a big mixing bowl.
  • In this mixing bowl, stir in your sauce that you placed to the side, and follow that up with your Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, cayenne pepper, peas, and of course, tuna. Use a spatula to stir and ensure that all of those ingredients are fully mixed in with one another.
  • Take that mixture, and pour it all into that previously-buttered casserole dish.
  • Upon completing that, you can grab a small mixing bowl, and in this one, combine your cannabis-infused olive oil, Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and bread crumbs. Keep mixing them together until they start to look like soggy sand on the beach.
  • When that happens, proceed to sprinkle this “infused sand” topping over your entire casserole. Be sure to try your best to evenly distribute this crumbly topping.
  • Then, when your oven is ready, toss the casserole in to bake on the center rack for roughly half an hour.
  • When everything starts to bubble and turn a subtle shade of brown, you can remove it from the oven.
  • Once you take it out of the oven, place it on the counter to cool down for at least 10 minutes, before you cut yourself a portion, and start grubbing!

There you have it. A tremendous recipe for THC Tuna Noodle Casserole.
