One Trick Pony Diamonds
Strain: (indica, sativa, hybrid-dominants): Hybrid
Contributor: Asia Mayfield
Shango’s One Trick Pony Diamonds is a rare find. Both the strain and the concentrate style are hard to come by. Sugar, a similar concentrate, is more common. You can see why I was attracted. This is why I come to Shango, the chance to try something new.
One Trick Pony looks good enough to eat. Imagine a dollop of honey mixed with a tablespoon of sugar. The caramel-brown color and grainy texture draw the eye. A thin liquid oozes from the clump of diamonds. You could smear this on a joint, create a potent dab hit. Because the material is so easy to work with, it’s versatile.
The smell reminds of an old bouquet of flowers where the petals have been preserved between the pages of a book. It’s an odd comparison but stay with me. The concentrate exudes a plant-like, flowery scent but the aroma is faded and indistinct. I can’t say which flower it smells like, just that it’s decidedly floral.
Don’t be fooled by the candy-store sweetness of the appearance. The comparisons between One Trick Pony and a piece of candy fall apart when you get to the taste. Instead of a dessert-like flavor, my taste buds are met with a fresh, citrus bite. The taste fully develops after a few seconds on my tongue.
This is why I smoke. This dreamy, calm, perfect high. Impossible to worry or think about stressful thoughts when you’re drifting in this mood. Everything seems nicer. Peace seems possible. Cannabis makes me relax - period - but there are some strains that really push that effect. Smoking One Trick Pony is like being enveloped in a warm, cuddly blanket.
Product price: $26.99 per 0.5g
In the mood to party? One Trick Pony is your friend. The strain gets your mouth and body moving. Anyone struggling with social anxiety can try a small puff and see what happens. It might dissolve your anxiety.
One Trick Pony diamonds by Shango is a pretty concentrate that’s easily worth $26.99. Its rarity alone justifies the price. Combine that with its sweet taste and strong scent and I’m sold. If you want a “Vegas-style” concentrate, this is it.

Shango took the city’s shutdown in stride. Immediately, the dispensary had their delivery portal open. Customers who want weed can order directly from Shango’s website. If you can get the order in before 9pm, you’re eligible for same-day delivery. Your total needs to be at least $75, pre-tax.
Because you’re shopping at Shango, it won’t be hard to meet the delivery minimum. The dispensary has one of the more expensive menus in town. Their deals cater to people willing to spend serious cash. However, they have high-quality products to back up their price point. Shango grows everything in-house. I’ve seen strains there that I’ve never encountered anywhere else. Because they handle seed to sale themselves, they’re in complete control of the quality.
The delivery process was as easy ordering a pizza. Pick out what you want online and hit submit. Eventually, a Shango employee will arrive at your address with your order. If you want to keep track of your order, make an account. Otherwise, you can check out as a guest.
Shango’s list of concentrates is almost more impressive than its list of flower. Their growers constantly test new combinations. The menu is different almost every time I look at it. Unpopular offerings are quickly dropped while the top strains are almost always in stock.
