The Guice is a Hybrid Cannabis Strain produced from the cross of Hybrid Original Glue and Hybrid Orange Valley OG. Many consider The Guice to be a 50/50 hybrid because of it’s equivalent stimulation of the mind and the body. One can expect fresh and fruity flavors with a balanced relaxing high this Hybrid preroll produced by Redwood.
Redwood packages its one gram of The Guice preroll in a black nontransparent tube with a child proof lid that requires me to squeeze below to cap to open. The Redwood sticker wrapped around the container provides me with all the information I desire such as: strain type, cannabinoids, terpenes, and a warning to keep away from children. The fuzzy neon green flower is enveloped in a white Redwood branded cone. I can see the piles of golden kief along with dark green sugar leaves in the shake.
I pop open the black Redwood capsule of Guice and unleash a pleasant tart scent. The 4.800 mg/g of Limonene dominates the aroma with its strong citrus tones. I’m reminded of orange juice by the scent. In the same way, there is a strong floral and fresh scent from Limonene as well. The earthy elements of Myrcene and Caryophyllene show up after the tartnes. Caryophyllene’s contribution is not spicy but I do taste tropical tones from Mycrenee. Overall, it smells like a fruity cocktail.
I spark The Guice Preroll produced by Redwood and inhale herbal sour smoke from the hybrid flower. Similar to the preroll’s tart aroma, the Limonene is prominent with a sweet floral citrus flavor. Likewise, my tastebuds recognize the flavor of coconut and pineapple similar to a Pina Colada. I attribute these tropical fruit tones to the Myrcene. The Caryophyllene adds some nice spice as well. It’s too harsh that I cough from the peppery elements.
It’s not until I’m about halfway through Redwood’s gram The Guice preroll before I start to realize its calming effects. As I puff on the Hybrid joint I can feel my stress dissipate with every exhale thanks to the uplifting 4.800 mg/g of Limonene. On the other hand, Myrcene and Caryophyllene give The Guice doobie the ability to soothe my aches and upgrade the luxury of my futon. The high is relaxing but does not put me in the mood to sleep.
Product price: $13.00 for 1g
I feel comfortable recommending The Guice Preroll for newcomers to the smoking scene because I did not find it’s euphoric and relaxing effects extremely powerful. Still, I advise moderation because the intoxicating effects could be disorientating if the THC is ingested too rapidly. This is a great product for leisurely activities and recreation. Finally, The Guice Preroll could be used to treat depression, fatigue, pain, inflammation, anxiety, stress, and minor headaches.
I chose Redwood’s The Guice preroll because of the interesting name. After smoking the product I realize it’s name most likely originates from it’s GG#4 lineage and orange juice flavors. Even though it was decently priced at $13.00 with great tastes and flavor the high did not inspire me to seek this product again from Curaleaf.

Despair and uncertainty spread with the same virulence of the Coronavirus in 2020 as jobs and education were temporarily suspended. Instead of succumbing to fear I daily seek joy and prepare myself for the conclusion of the COVID-19 plague. I was not the only one preparing to make a positive maneuver during these difficult trials. Curaleaf Nevada celebrated it’s reopening of on-site retail by partnering with Downtown Las Vegas restaurant, 7th & Carson, to provide local vagabonds with meals. When the quarantine first began, Curaleaf continued to operate as an essential business by delivering cannabis through Hytiva’s online service. Initially, the delivery order minimum was over $100. Thankfully, the subtotal has been lowered to a $75.00 minimum to qualify for transportation of ganja goods to my home. Another caveat to receiving a visit from a cannabis courier is that all payments must be exact cash and the driver’s will not give you change. I’ve ordered delivery plenty of times from Curaleaf dispensary without worrying about having the precise amount and telling the deliverer to keep the change.
It was revealed that Curaleaf dispensary saved over a month’s worth of change to fund 85 supply care kits and 106 fresh meals for the Las Vegas locals that need it the most. According to the 7th & Carson marketing parner, Jenn Tramaglino Curaleaf is responsible for the “largest single donation of meals and supplies care kits yet,”! Food Not Bombs and Cardidad collaborated with Curaleaf to distribute the love to the community. Moreover, I feel like I contributed by never having an exact change to pay for deliveries. It’s refreshing to see the cannabis community get involved and display the positive force the herb can inspire.
