For starters, you’re going to need to mix and toss your apples with your flour, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl.
Following that, simply place those contents onto a previously-greased deep-dish pie plate that is also microwave safe. I’d say aim for a pie plate that’s roughly 9” in dimension.
Now, in another bowl, we’re going to create your topping. So, mix together your oats, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and cinnamon. And, when those are expertly blended together, start to cut in your butter, and keep that mixing going until the contents take on a crumbly complexion and texture.
After you’ve completed that step, and are happy with how your butter mixture looks, you can sprinkle your newly-created topping over the filling that is resting in the pie plate.
At this point, cover the whole thing in some parchment or wax paper, and microwave it on high, for about 6 minutes or so. You’ll know it’s ready to go when the apples are nice and tender.
When that happens, remove them from the microwave, and distribute this infused crisp to your friends, but don’t forget to add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream first.
