For starters, you’ll want to kick things off by preheating that trusty oven of yours to a solid 350°.
Following that quick initial step, you will need to get your hands on a mixing bowl. In it, combine your brown sugar, egg, buttermilk, 1 teaspoon of root beer extract, and ½ cup of cannabis-infused butter.
Once you feel like you’ve adequately blended all of those components together, you can toss in your salt, baking soda, and all-purpose flour. Again, mix everything together to the best of your ability.
Now, you’ll want to take tiny portions of that dough, and place them onto a previously-greased cookie sheet. Aim to make the dough portions roughly the size of a teaspoon, and place them at least 2 inches apart from one another on the sheet.
Toss the cookies into the preheated oven to bake for no more than 8 minutes.
Next, you’ll want to get to work on your delicious root beer glaze. In order to do that, you will need to grab another mixing bowl. In this one, combine your confectioners’ sugar, ⅓ cup of your cannabis-infused butter, hot water, and 1 ½ teaspoons of root beer extract.
When you feel like those are intricately incorporated with one another, strategically brush that glaze on the tops of each cookie while they are still warm.
Let the glaze harden a touch as the cookies cool down. Then, when they are mellow enough to pick up, you can feel free to dig in!
