Well, to be fair, not all strains – or even versions of strains – taste the same. It all depends on how it was cared for and what it was crossed with. Perhaps the terpene profile (the cannabis compounds responsible for a strain’s taste and scent) was a bit more on the “earthy” side, causing it to overpower any other floral or fruity notes that would’ve otherwise shined through with another bud. That said, it appears as though this particular OG interpretation left a little to be desired in the terpene department, but it STILL delivered a strong mental high. So, if you are willing to endure a lackluster smoke experience for a calming head high, this is the bud for you. If not, you may want to think about spending your money elsewhere. Hope that helps.

I thought OG strains were supposed to taste like oranges? Or at the very least, a little bit fruity. This stuff just tasted like legit grass. What gives?

Though it didn’t really look like the OGs I have in the past, I’m still baked from just a couple hits, so I really can’t complain. Not bad, not great, but good all around.

This bud is phenomenal. 2 of my buddies and I smoked one bowl and we were lit for the whole day.
