Sticky B

Sticky B is a strain cultivated by Shango, with unknown parent strains. The hybrid is a powerful Indica dominant that is perfect for medical cannabis consumers, and to those who find comfort in heavy Indicas.

Appearance 5/5
This strain has small nugs that are coated in sticky trichromes. The light green leaves have a depth of color with a closer look. Burnt orange hairs with dark green and purple leaves run throughout the potent buds. Although small, the nugs are dense with thick leaves that hug the small stems.

Aroma 4/5
The scent of Sticky B comes off earthy with an all-around sweetness that often comes with OG strains. The flower is fresh with an almost addicting aroma. The smell is heavy and will not be detected until the jar is opened, but once it is, the scent will fill and tingle the nose. It wasn't immediately detectable, but a bright hint of citrus can also be identified.

Taste 4/5
After burning the softly ground weed, my palate is filled with the full earthy flavor that travels with the thick smoke. With the exhale, users may get a sweet aftertaste that coats the mouth and lingers. The flavor is bold, and taste similar to its scent, but the earthy tone overpowers the other depth flavors.

Effect 4/5
The lasting effects are smooth and heavy with a relaxing wave that slowly hits the shoulders and moves down the body. Although a hybrid, Sticky B has Indica like effects that can be felt with heavy eyelids and a euphoric body high that may leave some users feeling stuck to the couch. This selection eases the stomach and may also give users the “munchies”.

This Indica heavy hybrid is not for the inexperienced cannabis consumer, as the full-body high can cause fatigue and paranoia. However, those who are experienced might enjoy consuming this product before going out for a bite to eat, or out for drinks with some friends.  Patients who use cannabis medically will find this strain is great for pain, insomnia, loss of appetite, and depression. Both users will also enjoy White Sticky B at night time, as the sedative properties ease the body and mind.

Zen Leaf Dispensary is a unique little clinic tucked away on West Post Road. Zen Leaf hires friendly everyday budtenders that are experienced and knowledgeable about their products. Having a partnership with Verano, Zen Leaf carries a variety of high-grade options that their competitors don't supply.

Coming off of South Jerry Tarkanian Way, and following the small green sign on the corner of the commercial plaza, I arrive at the hidden clinic. I walk inside and am greeted with the scent of fresh cannabis. The receptionist checks my valid Identification card, adds me to the list, and buzzes me into the showroom.

I enter the softwood room and spot the onsite ATM direct to my right. I enter my debit and withdraw cash, paying the small fee that comes with nearly every dispensary. I waste no time, knowing exactly why I came in for today. I walk up to the open register and ask for a product that I’ve been excited to try. Sticky B by Shango. She ensures me that they still have some available, and proceeds to the display wall. Since Zen Leaf has the only license in the state to weigh and scale the products in front of the customers, she takes the jar and brings it back with her. She then unscrewed the top and let me see and smell the flowers. Next, she begins to place nugs on the scale that we can both see and weighs out my selected weight.

This process alone is enough to make me a returning customer. It creates a fun and trusting experience from clinics to customers, and more dispensaries in the valley should pick up on this way of selling products.

Oh Yeah!

Oh, yeah. No doubt. This strain releases a killer series of calming effects, and it tastes great while doing it. Also, yes, this strain is one of those “dank” ones that those aforementioned “kids” are talking about. You’ll know a bud is potent when it has this many trichomes and hairs covering it. That is usually indicative of a potent bud.

Is this a good bud to buy for my needs?

I’m currently in the market for a super mellow strain of marijuana. And I know that sticky strains are usually pretty, as the kids say, “dank.” Is this a good bud to buy for my needs?

I was completely frozen in “couch lock” after smoking a blunt of this strain. I don’t think I’ve ever been THAT relaxed before. Felt like I could’ve slept for days and days. Super mellow.

Sticky B. Does that just mean Sticky Bud? Probably – because this stuff is DANK. I love how sticky all of these buds are. It really gets you excited to smoke it, that’s for sure.
