Acne-Buster Facial Oil
- 5 drops rose geranium essential oil
- 3 drops frankincense essential oil
- 2 tbsp of full spectrum CBD oil
- 2 tbsp jojoba oil
- 1 teaspoon carrot seed oil
My teenage daughter is a huge fan of this acne-fighting oil! She calls it her sweet dreams oil. She knows that when she wakes up in the morning her acne will be less inflamed and the breakout will be on its way to being gone. It is definitely a staple in our medicine cabinet. Making your own CBD infused beauty and body treatments at home is easier than you think. Here is one of my favorite home-made skin care treats to keep on hand!
- Blend all the ingredients thoroughly in a glass dish. When done, store it in a dark-colored
glass bottle (out of direct sunlight), with a dropper top for application.
- Use 3-4 drops of the oil on the affected area twice a day. Again, best to start out once a day
(at night) to see how your skin will react to the oil.
You can now utilize the benefits of Cannabidiol (CBD) oil to level up your home beauty routine. We know that inflammation is the primary cause many skin issues from acne, eczema, rosacea and others. Because of the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of cannabinoids using it can help to reduce puffiness, redness, and even tenderness. It’s the perfect skin care addition because of its ability to target all of those skin care concerns/pains simultaneously. *It’s only a personal preference, but I prefer to use only organic ingredients when making my beauty items.
