The Frosted Cherry Cookies (FCC) crumble is close to the perfect concentrate. Most of them make me pass out before I can experience the body high.

Appearance 5/5
The crumble looks like dried globs of honey. It is a pale golden color that looks more like kief than typical weed. If you are not experienced with concentrates, it will look like your half-gram isn’t very much. Don’t worry. You don’t need a lot of crumble to get blazed. It is loaded with 359.73 mg of THC and a decent number of terpenes. The pretty golden color entices your eyes.

Aroma 5/5
A slight smell of weed reels you in. You are expecting to detect a hint of sweetness in the aroma because of the fruity name and the pretty honey-tinge. However, it is not there. The smell is earthy with subtle skunky notes. Most concentrates don’t have a very strong smell. They have been processed too many times. The extraction process involves multiple steps. An isolate may not smell like anything at all.

Taste 5/5
Crumble tastes fantastic. It doesn’t really taste like the Frosted Cherry Cookie strain anymore. The extraction process is too involved. The FCC crumble has a light, crisp taste that melds with whatever weed you use. The crumble is always the overwhelming flavor. Extracts tend to have a soft flavor because you will be able to taste every note when you hit a dab rig. The taste won’t be as clear if you smoke your crumble in a pipe or joint.

Effect 5/5
This isn’t the strongest concentrate that I have ever tried. That is a good thing. Concentrates can be so powerful that they are hard to enjoy. The FCC crumble was particularly effective because I laid it on top of poor-quality weed. The bud was borderline un-smokable on its own. Crumble changed everything. The bland, uninteresting puffs suddenly had depth and flavor. I was wildly stoned but still felt like I was in control of myself. It doesn’t matter what kind of weed you use because the crumble is the real star. The weed is just a vehicle to deliver more crumble to your body.

You don’t need to get fancy. You can smoke your crumble in a regular bowl or joint. Just sprinkle it on top of your weed. You might be tempted to use too much. The little crumble chunks are so small that you can easily fit a bunch into your bowl. You might rethink your strategy when you actually smoke it. The FCC crumble is highly potent. Mix it with poor, low-quality weed and you will still end up stoned out of your mind. It is easier on your wallet and your brain if you go slow and load small crumble bowls instead.

The ability to buy concentrates is one of the many reasons why going to the dispensary is so much better than buying weed from a random stoner’s basement. Concentrates are difficult to make at home. You really need to use commercial equipment if you want to prepare them correctly.

Tryke’s Frosted Cherry Cookie crumble is extremely popular. So, although the dispensary makes it onsite, don’t be surprised if it’s hard to find. People love the cheap price.

Consuming extracts is much more intense than smoking weed. You’re ingesting far more THC at once. Beginners should be careful. As I mentioned earlier, if you get too stoned, you’ll just fall asleep and not feel anything. It’s a bit of a disappointment if you were planning on having a fun night. People rarely indulge in concentrates just to sit around by themselves.

Crumble is a form of concentrate that is typically meant for those who prefer to dab, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sprinkle a little onto a bowl every now and then. However, just know going into it that it won’t burn very easily under a lighter. That said, if you do decide to dab it, you’ll notice that it melts rather fast, delivering the utmost potency to your hit. But, honestly, you can’t go wrong either way. Just have fun with it.

Sprinkle it or not?

Is “crumble” something that only dabbers can use? Or can I sprinkle this on a bowl?

Most crumbles make me cough, but this was super smooth. Definitely going to pick this up again the next time I go to the dispensary. No doubt about it.

I don’t think I’ve ever got a product from Tryke that I didn’t like – or should I say “Lyke.” Everything they make is incredible.
