Hybrid Blend Popcorn Nugs from DFG is a nice mix of pretty green nugs. This hybrid blend contains a mix of Indica and Sativa. Hybrid blends can elevate or lock users on the couch, depending on the genetic mix.
I wasn’t able to nail specific trains, but the aroma of Hybrid Blend was piney, nutty, and earthy. The popcorn nugs were medium-sized and deep green. The flavors I tasted were nutty, pine, and earthy undertones. The strain smoked nice. I tried it because I haven’t seen a Hybrid Blend before. Hybrid Blend was just okay. It wasn’t memorable. I’ve consumed a lot of DGF strains. This is one I will leave on the shelf in the future. The effects of a Hybrid blend is pretty much nonexistent.

Hybrid Blend has an array of earthy, piney, nutty flavor. I enjoyed the taste of this strain.

I smelled nutty, piney, earthiness. The aroma of Hybrid Blend reminded me of camping and outdoors.

I return to Essence On The Strip because of the strain variety, frequent deals, and great customer service. Essence is open daily 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m. They are always available with flowers, concentrates, edibles, and cannabis-themed gear.
Weekends and special deals can bring long lines at Essence. I never mind though, because there is always an array of friendly conversations being had as folks wait in line. Essence attracts tourists and gets a lot of local repeat business. Not only from me but from others.
I take time building relationships with budtenders. Essence has some of the best. Certain budtenders are standing in place each time I drop by. I know they work long hours and yet, they manage to treat each customer like they’re special. They take their positions as seriously and I trust that they are giving me the absolute best recommendations.
I come in looking at the menu board if I haven’t checked the website for new offerings. I’m always looking for deals. Now and then I’ll splurge on the premium strain. I like the Cavi cones at Essence. They offer a variety of flavors. I keep waiting on a special for this item in particular. I haven’t caught that one yet. Essence carries some really tasty looking edibles with THC and in CBD. They have beverages, gummies, candies, cookies and more. There are so many ways to enjoy edibles. I remain on the lookout for the best, at affordable prices of course.
I like cannabis products that offer have been third-party tested, offer desired effects, and don’t break my wallet. I believe in comparison shopping. I’ve found that dispensaries will offer the same product and prices can vary. Sometimes as much as $10 – $15. It makes sense to do homework before shopping. Here’s a challenge to dispensaries, how about price-matching. It doesn’t have to be an everyday practice. Now and then it would be nice. I’d sign up.
People find their way to Essence via Google and Cannabis sites that offer insight. Others rely on word of mouth. I’m pretty sure the customer service offered at Essence is a huge part of customers returning. They have some of the most knowledgeable and friendly budtenders in Las Vegas.

This Bud!
To some, more “particular” enthusiasts, their bud has to be large, dense, and or covered in hairs and trichomes. This bud, as exemplified in the picture, is still “small” when compared to those nugs. Now, for people like you and I, this is still a very worthwhile, substantially-sized bud. And it seems as though the cultivators deemed this size of bud a “popcorn bud” which makes me assume the typical hybrid blend from this company is probably huge.
Hmmmm!
Hmm. I’ve recently learned that “Popcorn Buds” are typically smaller than the usual buds you see in an 1/8th, or what have you. Also, I’ve learned that they are usually found near the bottom of the crop, itself. But, in this picture, the “Popcorn Bud” appears to be rather large, if not just a “normal” bud. Is this a mistake on the brand’s part, or can popcorn buds be this large? Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy either way, just trying to educate myself.
Love Affair
I liked how these nugs looked. I was expecting some frail, wispy nugs, and these were nothing but impressive. However, my love affair only increased when I realized they were super potent.
Cheap but amazing
I smoked some of these popcorn buds during a movie and had an amazing time. Would definitely recommend it. Especially because of the price.
