Ingredients

  • ¼ Cup of Cannabis-Infused Butter Cubed
  • 1 Package of Penne Pasta 16 oz.
  • Cup of Parmesan Cheese Grated, Divided
  • 3 Cups of Colby-Monterey Jack Cheese Shredded, Divided
  • 4 Green Onions Chopped
  • 2 Cans of Tomatoes Diced and Drained
  • 3 Teaspoons of Ground Mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 ¼ Cups of Beef Broth
  • 2 Cups of Milk 2%
  • ½ Cup of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Pound of Ground Beef

When I first stumbled across this intriguing recipe, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. I mean, I like cheeseburgers, I like pasta, and I most certainly love me some cannabis, that’s for sure. So, it only stands to reason that I would like this recipe, right? Well, unfortunately, I didn’t like this Cannabis Cheeseburger Pasta – I LOVED IT!

Seriously. Very few things come close to the enjoyable decadence and overall dank nature of this Cannabis Cheeseburger Pasta dish. If you’re on the hunt for a quality, homecooked, fully-infused plate of comfort food, this is the way to go – no doubt about it.
However, before I delve too deep into the few steps needed to pull off this recipe, we’ll need to make sure you have all the right ingredients on hand, before we can even think about tossing on an apron, and getting started.
So, for this recipe, you’re going to need the following:

Instructions

  • For starters, simply cook your pasta per the usual pasta-making-routine that you normally do, then drain it. Nothing special here.
  • After that, grab your Dutch oven, and crumble in your beef over “Medium” heat, and allow it to cook for a little over 5 minutes, until there is no more pink remaining in the beef.
  • When that happens, remove the beef from the Dutch oven with the help of a slotted spoon, and pour off the excess liquid, and place it to the side for the time being, before proceeding onward with this recipe.
  • Now, in that very same Dutch oven, toss in your cannabis-infused butter and let it melt completely over a “Low” heat.
  • After that melts, you can slowly stir in your flour. Keep that stirring going until the contents take on a smooth consistency. Then, continue to stir, as this cooks for another few minutes or so, but be mindful not to let anything burn.
  • When you see the contents turn a subtle shade of brown, you can then whisk in your broth, milk, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Bring all of those contents to full boil. And keep stirring those ingredients together the entire time. Continue to do that for a couple minutes until you notice the contents thicken up, then reduce the heat a touch.
  • At that point, you can stir in your tomatoes, and kick everything back up to a boil.
  • Once it reaches that desired boiling point, reduce the heat from the stove once more, keep it covered, and allow it to simmer for an additional 5 minutes or so.
  • When that brief time period has come and gone, stir in your pasta, beef, and green onions. Keep stirring and cooking until you see that everything has heated up all the way through.
  • Following that, you’ll want to stir in half of those cheeses from the above list of ingredients. And continue to stir them up, until they completely melt, at which point, you can toss in your remaining cheese, as you remove the entire thing from the heat source.
  • Keep that cover on, as you let it stand for a moment. Once that additional cheese has melted, you can grab yourself a portion, and enjoy the mellow vibes and amazing taste that this Cannabis Cheeseburger Pasta is famous for providing.
