Strain or Product

WiFi 43 by Tryke is marketed as an average strain. It’s smack dab in the middle of Reef’s price range. It can only muster up 20% THC, a pretty small amount these days. I usually focus on strains with at least 25% or above. This represents a pretty steep departure.

Appearance 4/5
The buds are perfectly fluffy, with slender orange hairs laced around the flower. The entire bud looks like it’s been dredged in sugar the trichomes sparkle so brightly. Everything else about this strain is average; its appearance is the only thing going for it. I might pick WiFi 43 out if I was judging flower based on looks alone.

Aroma 3/5
I can’t think of anything interesting to say about the aroma. It doesn’t smack you in the face, erupting out of the jar the moment you screw off the lid. No, this aroma is far quieter. It’s the type of smell you imagine you would experience if you traipsed through a pine forest.

Taste 3/5
There’s an obnoxiously weedy taste that’s super common with low-grade bud. It masks everything else in the flavor, so the smoke tastes like you’re licking burning grass. The experience is only slightly less bad than actually doing it. This weed desperately needs a stronger terpene profile to kick up the flavor.

Effect 3/5
I’m growing picky in my old age. Back when I first started smoking, Wifi 43 would have been fine. In fact, I’d probably be pretty pleased if my dealer rolled up with these buds. Better than a bag of grass clippings. However, I’m “mature” now, and WiFi 43 just doesn’t cut it. I know how easy it is to get better weed. Hell, Reef sells better buds for the same price or cheaper.

Product price: $14.50g

Ehh, I’m not sure I would recommend this to anyone. Maybe WiFi 43 is a good smoke if you need to go to the bank, or sit at the DMV, but that’s it. You’ll be stoned enough to take the edge off your boredom, but not so high that you can’t function normally.

You can probably skip this one. WiFi 43 by Tryke isn’t going to win any awards. Reef’s warehouse is so large it can churn out endless strains like this. That’s why their prices are so reasonable. They control the process every step of the way.

I wouldn’t bother picking WiFi 43 up again unless there was literally nothing else on the menu.

Reef is my old reliable dispensary. It’s one that I can fall back on if I can’t figure out where to go. I’m crazy; I’ll flit across Las Vegas in search of bangin’ weed deals. But, if there’s nothing going on, I end up at Reef. Their day to day deals are nothing spectacular but they usually have an inexpensive pre-roll or two for sale. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to score a decent one-gram pre-roll for $6.25.

In case you couldn’t tell by their massive strip club-row warehouse, Reef is one of the biggest players in town. Most of their flagship location is dedicated to their grow operation. Reef’s in-house selections are sold under the Tryke brand name. You can find everything from $17 a gram Khalifa Kush to $8 a gram Cherry Pie. Quality loosely correlates with price. You can get what you need whether you’re a weed snob who prioritizes quality or a casual smoker looking for the best deal.

Reef’s process is quick. Give your ID to the security guard then stand in line immediately. You can flick through a paper menu or browse through shelves of smoking gear and CBD tchotchkes while you wait. A crew of budtenders waits along the back wall of the dispensary. If you can’t be bothered to wait, you can order pick-up online. You’ll be able to skip the line when you show up and head straight to the pick-up window.
