Cinnamon Toast Square

Appearance 5/5
Inside the packaging for the Cinnamon Toast Square by Exhale are two cinnamon bars. They look like a regular treat you would pick up at the store. That is why the wrapper has been slapped with a sticker reading THC. Anyone would be encouraged to nibble on these if they saw them. They are a very good size and color. Each square is coated, giving the impression that they were crafted with actual cinnamon cereal and they give off the appearance of being homemade.

Aroma 3/5
The cinnamon squares don’t smell like much. The cloying scent of cinnamon is the only thing I could identify. It is so strong it is almost off putting. The aroma is more reminiscent of something created in a laboratory than a bakery.

Taste 4/5
They taste like a gas station snack. I mean that in the best way possible. They are crunchy and sweet with a slight artificial taste that lingers in your mouth when you are done swallowing. The THC is almost undetectable. Believe me, that is what you want. Normally I have to choke down edibles with a glass of water to make them bearable. The cinnamon toast squares were almost good enough to eat on their own. The treats look and taste like cinnamon cereal stuck together with sugary goo. Imagine a Rice Krispie Treat made with cinnamon cereal squares instead. The surprising thing is how big they are. For $4 measly dollars you get two big bars. It is enough to satiate your munchies if you are stoned.

Effect 5/5
Each bar only has 10mg of THC. That is nothing. It is a drop in the pan. Depending on your body size and your smoking experience, you may not even feel anything after you eat the bar. So, why do I think the cinnamon toast square still deserves a perfect score? Hear me out. You get exactly what you expect. It would be bizarre and dangerous if a snack was labeled as being infused with 10mg of THC, yet it affected you as though it had 300mg. People want to know exactly what they are getting. If you are seeking a mild body high, these squares can satisfy your need.

The cinnamon toast square is perfect for people who are just dipping their toes into edibles. If you are not used to the taste of THC, it can be really jarring. This edible is appealing because the heavy taste of sugar and cinnamon completely masks the plant-like THC taste.

There is only 20mg of THC in both bars. The effect on each individual depends on a lot of factors. However, it is not a very strong dose. The average recreational edible has about 100mg of THC. So, if you are hoping for extreme pain relief, there are probably better edibles for you. If you have had a long day at work or just experienced a grueling workout session, a cinnamon toast square can ease your recovery.

The cinnamon toast square by Exhale are a pretty good buy. It is only $4, which makes it one of the cheapest things you can pick up at the dispensary. Can you imagine a cheaper way to get high? You get two large, gooey pieces for your money. Everyone who is interested in THC can enjoy these.

Exhale Dispensary grew on me. It is across the street from the Palms Casino and practically in the same parking lot as the Apothecary Shoppe – a similar dispensary in Las Vegas. The surrounding streets pulse with life 24-hours a day. Locals and tourists alike may end up finding their way to Exhale because they are in the area exploring anyway. The building is square and white with multiple unmarked doors on the outside. Instead of security guards, the staff relies on a buzzer system to control who is allowed inside. Once I was let in, it was a short wait until I was matched with my budtender. Nobody else was in the dispensary, so his attention was strictly on me. I was in and out within ten minutes. The process would have been even faster if I hadn’t lingered over the menu, marveling at the low prices.
