Aroma
Peppery but sweet scent that takes over 40%
Taste
Sweet, leading to a diesel taste 80%
Effect
Effect quickly with indica-like effects 60%

Cherry Death Star is a hybrid indica-dominant strain from NLV Organics. THC was tested at 31.48%, with a slight trace of CBD at only 0.06%. This strain contains a high amount of the terpene caryophyllene, as well as containing limonene and humulene. I was not able to find any true lineage information for this strain.

Appearance 2/5
The flower for Cherry Death Star is lighter green with reddish hairs infiltrating the dense buds. It is easy to break up by hand, with the trichomes dusting off during the process. There is nothing visually outstanding about this strain, it does not have any unique characteristics that draw in the potential consumer.

Aroma 2/5
On the first inhale, there is a smell not unlike dried grass. This leads way to a peppery but sweet scent that takes over. The scent is not very strong, but this strain does make itself known to the user. The overall scent of Cherry Death Star is not an appealing one unless one likes the smell of dried grass. It is fairly disappointing given the Death Star name.

Taste 4/5
Cherry Death Star definitely tastes much better than it smells. The hit is very smooth and starts off sweet, leading to a diesel taste. There is no noticeable aftertaste from this strain, making it a pleasant experience for the user. The taste of Cherry Death Star only matches in the sweetness of the scent, which is pleasantly surprising given the scent that is given of grass.

Effect 3/5
Upon first consuming, this strain takes effect quickly with indica-like effects. The user feels some slight tiredness at first, along with an inability to focus. As Cherry Death Star takes its hold, the effect changes to a more focused energy where one has the desire to complete tasks that may be at hand. The feelings are calming, with just the change from the indica to sativa effects.

Product price: $10.00/gram

Cherry Death Star has a high THC content, which may lead to undesirable effects for beginners with no experience. Intermediate or experienced users will find this a pleasant experience as long as one can get past the initial smell this strain emanates. This is good for relaxation and focus, but not if one is looking for other benefits such as pain relief.

Overall, this is not a strain that stands out aside from the name. The smell is disappointing and not very appealing. The taste of Cherry Death Strain is the saving point due to the smooth, sweet-tasting hit. There are not many benefits to make it worth seeking out, aside from a general relaxation session that the user will experience.
Address: 2320 Western Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102 Phone number: 702-399-4200 Hours: 24 hours Acres is a dispensary in Las Vegas that is just west of the strip, hidden on a side street next to the freeway. The location may not be in the most obvious place (thank you GPS!), but when one arrives, there is no question of where you are at. The parking lot is fairly small; fortunately, I visited in the early afternoon, so parking was not an issue for me. There is only one door to enter or leave the building, and once one enters, there is a guard desk as well as multiple hallways to choose from. There is a sign directing the recreational user or medical patient to enter a small room with the receptionist. During check-in, the receptionist took my information and created an account for me to earn points for shopping that can be redeemed for product. After checking in, I entered the main sales floor where there were shelving displays along all the walls, along with the glass counter displays. It seemed as if there were only a few staff members working at this time, so there was a bit of a wait. Once I was able to speak with the budtender, he was friendly and seemed happy to be working there. I did have a few questions and was also informed of deals that were going on that day. When asking questions, the budtender was able to answer confidently, or he took the time to find someone who would know the answer for me. The staff does care for each individual that enters and will make one feel as if they are the only customer in the dispensary. This is not the best place if one needs a quick visit, but it is worth the few extra minutes to have a genuine interaction with the staff.
