I don’t know about you, but I’m a big fan of cannabis gadgets. These marijuana accessories are rarely lame, and even if they are, the main goal of these cool weed accessories is to make smoking cannabis even more awesome, so you can’t really fault them for their efforts.
These Marijuana Accessories Changed The Cannabis Community Forever
Whenever I can, I mosey on into my local smoke shop, just to see what new, cool weed accessories they have on hand. There’s always a ton of stoner gadgets on display, so it’s fun to peruse through their selection of pot smoking accessories to see if there’s anything I haven’t seen before. Sure, these marijuana gadgets can run the entire financial spectrum, with some costing mere pennies, and others valued in the triple-digits, but seeing as how they all deliver different experiences (and accompanying highs), that sort of difference in price only makes sense when you really think about it.
However, as happy as I am to see such a variety in smoking gadgets and whatnot, it can be a bit overwhelming at times, to be honest. And I’m sure that goes double for those of you who are brand new to the world of cannabis. But fear not, newbies, we’ve gone ahead and done a bit of the homework for you, that way, you won’t be completely lost when you wander into your local smoke shop to gaze upon their various wares.
The following list isn’t just a collection of some of the most recent innovations in cannabis, it’s some of the best accessories that have ever been made. These wonderful marijuana inventions have single-handedly changed the entire game. Just when you thought smoking weed couldn’t be any more enjoyable, these brilliant inventions show up, and completely revamp everything you love about getting high.
I know that may sound hyperbolic, but trust me, I’m being absolutely genuine and authentic when I shower these accessories with praise. They deserve all the respect in the world for how they were able to revolutionize smoking weed, and they were all able to do so in their own specific, unique way. Which, I think, is pretty dang awesome!
Now, in absolutely no particular order, here are a handful of innovations that we believe to be the most important cannabis accessories to ever be created.

Wide Rolling Papers
While these may seem like they’ve been around just as long as the cannabis plant, itself, you may be surprised to learn that wider rolling papers didn’t really come about until the 60’s and 70’s, and yes, they were specifically designed with the “spliff” in mind. See, at jazz clubs around this time in history, many patrons were partaking in multiple joints a night, which many naysayers referred to as, “jazz cigarettes.” They were mostly named this because folks were relegated to using the standard papers for their joints, that others would roll their own cigarettes with. These would often result in flimsy, overstuffed joints, which were “fine.” But once companies started producing much wider rolling papers, joints took on a whole new life. Fewer joints were being rolled, but that’s because each one was fatter than ever before, and with fatter joints, came longer smoke sessions. And many attribute this innovation as helping the common “smoke circle” become so popular in mainstream society. Pretty interesting stuff, wouldn’t you say?

Volcano Vaporizer
This device is a personal favorite of mine. Now, even though you will have to drop (at least) a couple hundred on one of these babies, it is more than worth it. I invested in one of the earlier models, and I still use it to this day. In order to use this wonderful accessory, you simply need to grind up some ganja, and place a small amount of cannabis flower into the heat chamber. You attach a large bag to this chamber, and place it over a heat fan of sorts (aka ‘The Volcano’). That heat fan decarboxylates your weed at the ideal temperature, and it subsequently fills that attached bag up with clean, pure cannabis vapor. Once your bag is full, simply unlatch it from the heat chamber, attach a mouthpiece in its place, and inhale. The highs you get from the Volcano are unlike any other, and I’d strongly suggest that my fellow stoners save up to invest in one, because they can truly change your entire way of smoking – I guarantee it.
Grinder
Ah, the classic grinder. Is there any accessory more widely used (and appreciated) than the standard grinder? I certainly don’t think so. These babies are not only affordable, they are beyond crucial in every single way imaginable. Why leave trichome-laden residue on your fingertips, never to be enjoyed, when you can toss your nugs in a grinder, give it a couple twists, and enjoy the most potency your bud has to offer? Only makes sense to me.

Plus, if you invest in a proper grinder, you’ll be able to harvest all of that run-off and kief with a patented “kief catcher” chamber. You can then add that little bit of “bonus bud” onto any bowl, joint, or blunt that you want, for a little extra “oomph.” It really is the gift that keeps on giving.
Bongs (Specifically, Graffix)
Back in the day, smoke shops would toss you out of their establishment if you used the term, “bong.” You had to refer to these babies as “water pipes,” for legal reasons. But now, since cannabis is so universally accepted (and legal in most places) you don’t have to concern yourself with that cryptic terminology anymore. These “water pipes” provided a super clean hit in the early days of cannabis, and their usage hasn’t dwindled at all since they first came on the scene all those decades ago. And, for the most part, glass bongs are still a bit expensive, which is why these wonderful fiberglass interpretations were, and continue to be, so popular. Sure, they aren’t the prettiest devices in the smoke shop, but they always get the job done. And no company is more synonymous with cheap, affordable bongs than everybody’s favorite “spooky clown” brand, Graffix. These generous, bong-building maniacs allowed the average enthusiast to have a “water pipe” in their home, without spending a small fortune, and for that, we will be forever grateful – and high.
Obviously, these aren’t all the critical cannabis accouterments that have ever been invented, but if you wanted to make a case for which ones should be on the “Mount Kushmore” of marijuana accessories, I’d say that these stand a pretty good shot of being etched in stone for all eternity, as these are some of the greatest (if not the greatest) accessories that the cannabis community has ever seen!
