FloraVega’s White Tie hybrid stain is produced by crossing two of the producer’s in-house strains, Muay Thai and Desert Snow.
Desert Snow in an indica-dominant hybrid that displays plenty of white on its flowers, and coral red pistils.
White Tie’s lineage and herbal profile of relieving terpenes like terpinolene, ocimene, and musky myrcene indicate that it has some physical relieving properties, and the high THC percentage of 23.34% suggests a positive change to one’s cerebral experience.
More than a dozen loose-leaf nugs made up the 3.5g of White Tie, and they sat in a clear jar with a white lid and sticker label announcing the testing results of the product.
There are several shades of green visible in FloraVega’s White Tie flower. First, I noticed the lime green that causes the calyx of the flower to appear to glow, and then I noticed a few more fruity, green colors, and the sugar on the leaves made the whole thing look like the skin of a Bartlet pear.
I twisted the FloraVega-branded white lid of the jar of the White Tie buds, and put my nose down to breathe in the scent. Cocoa aromas hit the nose the hardest, but orange and other fruit flavors are also present, leaving a candy scent.
There was also a fresh, herbal smell, similar to lavender, and I detected a chemical tone that reminded me of manmade cleaning products.
It’s difficult to describe, because I do not recall ever experiencing these tastes in cannabis. The initial flavors were savory and saucy to my taste buds, and comparing the flavor to a tomato is the best I can do, though it is not exactly what I was tasted.
After the initial tomato wave, I was exposed to the fresh herb and plant tones from the terpinolene and ocimene, and I distinctly tasted mint, parsley, and pepper.
I broke down two White Tie nugs in my manual grinder, and then packed a joint for this particular smoke session.
I began to feel the cerebral effects of White Tie after smoking nearly half of my joint. First, I became more talkative and courageous, and then I became more aware of my increased focus and joyful mood.
In the end, White TIe’s high energized my body and mind to the point of wanting to take a walk or exercise at the gym. I was so energized that I not only sang in the shower (sorry neighbors), but I also danced when there wasn’t even music playing. Side note: don’t try dancing in the shower at home.
FloraVega’s White Tie is a hybrid strain with energizing effects for the body and the mind!
The high from White Tie moderately stimulates the mind to a point of more focus, positivity, and creativity.
I was not bursting with energy nor flooded with thoughts, so I believe that a beginner smoker may be able to handle White Tie. Cannabis consumers with more smoking experience may find it to be a pleasant relaxing smoke with that gives the mind the inspiration to travel, and the body the strength necessary to follow.
White Tie may be utilized to combat lethargy or stress, and boost the immune system because of its herbal terpene profile.
White Tie offers an intoxicating scent of expensive gourmet chocolate, with a hint of citrus, before delivering a savory and refreshing smoke. White Tie’s high altered my mind state quite a bit, so I believe it is leaning on the sativa-dominant side of hybrids.

I woke up from a deep sleep induced by the previous day’s Thanksgiving buffet dinner to a text message from Blackjack Collective Dispensary. The majority of America recognizes this day as Black Friday, one of the best days to practice consumerism because the universal discounts offered by retailers.
Blackjack Collective had something different in mind for this date. The dispensary was celebrating ‘Green Friday’, and offering huge discounts (okay, that part is pretty similar to Black Friday).
The bigger event going down for the company, though, was their official re-brand to Curaleaf. This explained why I didn’t see the normal Blackjack Collective words on the building when I visited the day before Thanksgiving.
I wanted to go right away to Curaleaf to take advantage of the Green Friday deals, but I unfortunately had to work until the evening.
As soon as I was done with my shift, I began navigating down Las Vegas Boulevard towards Curaleaf. My heart dropped once the dispensary came into view and I could see the ridiculous line extending outside into the parking lot. The re-brand was definitely a big deal.
I waited 45 minutes before I was inside of the actual dispensary retail space. I checked out a convenient menu highlighting all of the Green Friday deals, so I was prepared when Lennora called me over to the budtender counter.
Initially, I wanted to purchase a Cookie strain, but Leonnora convinced me that White Tie was a better hybrid choice because of its sweet flavor profile.
I bought the 3.5grams for $20, and was able to pick up a 1.2g pack of pre-rolls for $4, thanks to the amazing deals. I’m sure it was a long day, considering all the guests, but Leonnora displayed no signs of fatigue, and was extremely pleasant and helpful.
