Like most kids, I wasn’t the biggest fan of vegetables. To be even more honest, I don’t think I truly welcomed veggies into my life until my mid-to-late twenties. But, if I had been offered some Cannabis-Infused Brussels Sprouts as a kid, I’d probably be vegan by now. And I don’t think I’m the only one who feels that way.

There’s something unbelievably perfect (and potent) about a well-prepared edible that’ll make one an immediate fan of an entire realm of cuisine, simply because of its THC influence. And these Cannabis-Infused Brussels Sprouts are no different. They are nutritious, scrumptious, and beyond easy to make.
And, seeing as how this sort of healthy meal hits on all cylinders, it’s hard to wonder why anyone wouldn’t want this kind of dish every single day. Hell, I know I do!

Look, I fully understand, and agree, that children shouldn’t be subjected to such a substance, unless it is a required medicine for an ailment or affliction that they are dealing with. For an adult to provide their child with recreational edibles at a young age is not advised, nor recommended, so please don’t get that idea.
I’m purely just divulging that, if handed a plate of these infused nuggets of health at, say, age 16, I would’ve been all over them, without a doubt. And now that I’m a full-blown adult in his 30’s, I figured it was high time I learned how to make such a healthy dish, as I am always trying to expand my culinary repertoire. And these seem like the ideal way to do just that.

Now, per the usual rigamarole, we need to first see if you have all the necessary ingredients to pull off this recipe. Of which, there are more than you may assume.
For this recipe, you will need to acquire the following:
Calories: 207kcal
Cost: approx. $15-$20

Instructions

  • Cut all of your brussels sprouts in half.
  • After that quick step, you’ll want to grab a large skillet, place it over “Medium” heat, and add in your olive oil.
  • Follow that up by adding in your garlic and freshly-cut brussels sprouts. Let these ingredients cook with another, as you stir them up for about 5 minutes. You’ll know it’s time to proceed onward with the recipe once the brussels sprouts start to brown.
  • Now, you will add in your wine. Be sure to keep stirring every so often to unstick random browned sections that may start to formulate.
  • After the wine, toss in your lemon juice, broth, salt, pepper, and thyme. And let everything come to a solid boil.
  • When it reaches that boiling point, reduce the heat a bit, to allow the elements to simmer amongst each other. Don’t forget to pop the cover on at this point, and leave it alone for close to 10 minutes. Once those sprouts appear to be “fork tender” you will know it’s time to move on.
  • So, when the brussels sprouts have completed their “simmer session,” stir in your cannabis-infused butter, along with your lemon zest. Keep that heat going until the butter fully melts, at which time you can feel free to spoon some of the potency onto your sprouts.
  • At this point, you can remove them from the heat, and gently transfer them onto a plate. Top the whole batch of brussels off with some minced parsley, and that’s it, folks!

Notes

That’s how you make a killer batch of Cannabis-Infused Brussels Sprouts!
It should be noted that, if you follow this recipe, down to the last detail, your entire edible experience will be an insanely enjoyable one, I guarantee it. However, if you decide to get really cavalier with your cannabis ingredients, you may end up experiencing a moment of being, well, “too high,” for lack of a better term.
Of course, nothing bad will happen to you, as you are not in any danger when you become “too high.” But, for some, these feelings and sensations can be too intense and could lead to an onslaught of unforeseen paranoia and anxiety. However, all you would need to do is find a calm, quiet place to rest, sip a bit of water, and you’ll be regaining mental and physical composure in no time.
Remember, you are going to be just fine.
That said, if you’re looking to avoid any possibility of a “bad time,” simply go slow with your dosage, give the THC ample time to metabolize, and you’ll be all good – I promise.
